1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Carrypal's freight forwarding and port clearance services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.

2. Services Provided

Carrypal provides:

  • International freight forwarding by sea and air
  • Port clearance and customs brokerage services
  • Documentation preparation and compliance assistance
  • Door-to-door delivery within Nigeria
  • Shipment tracking and logistics management

Specific terms for each service will be outlined in individual service agreements.

3. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about shipments
  • Ensure all goods comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Obtain necessary permits, licenses, and approvals
  • Pay all applicable fees and charges in a timely manner
  • Not ship prohibited or restricted items

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all shipping documentation and declarations provided to customs authorities.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due as specified in invoices. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Bank transfers
  • Credit/debit cards (processed securely)
  • Approved credit terms for established customers

Late payments may incur additional charges of 2% per month and may result in suspension of services.

5. Liability and Limitations

Our liability is limited as follows:

  • For loss or damage to goods: As provided by applicable law and our service agreements
  • For delays: Limited to direct losses up to the amount of freight charges
  • For consequential damages: Excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law

We strongly recommend obtaining appropriate insurance coverage for your shipments.

  • Weapons and ammunition
  • Perishable goods requiring special handling not arranged in advance

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to mediation in Mombasa, Kenya. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kenya.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
